The warranty record, in plain words.
One simple record for every trade and every state. It writes down what you and your customer already agreed.
What it is
- A record of the finished work, filled in from the job.
- The warranty terms already in your original agreement, copied as they are.
- One version that you and your customer both sign, saved as a PDF.
What it isn’t
- A new contract written by OkayRecord.
- An automatic warranty. There’s no default length, and nothing starts just because someone signs.
- A waiver. Customers keep their rights, and can report a problem even if the record isn’t signed.
- A replacement for contracts or notices your state requires.
Questions
Do my customers have to download an app?
No. They open a link in their phone’s browser. No account, no password.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It’s built for phones first and runs in your browser. You can add it to your home screen and open it like an app.
Can I use just one tool?
Yes. Each tool works on its own, including the warranty record. Add more any time and they share the same jobs.
Is there a contract?
No. Plans are monthly. If you cancel, you can still open and download your signed records.
Who can see my jobs?
Your team. People outside your company only see what their own link shows them. Each company’s data is kept separate, and photos and files are private.
Will you send my customers ads?
No. We only email your customers about their own job: links, codes, records and the reminders you schedule.
